EPISCOPAL ORDINATION OF THE APOSTOLIC ADMINISTRATOR IN KYRGYZSTAN

The Apostolic Administrator for Catholics of the Byzantine Rite in Central Asia, Mitred Archpriest Vasyl Hovera, took part in the episcopal ordination of Anthony Corcoran, Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Church in Kyrgyzstan.
The solemn liturgy took place on 29 September 2026, the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels, at the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome. The principal consecrator was Cardinal Giorgio Marengo, Apostolic Prefect of Ulaanbaatar and President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Central Asia.
