THANKSGIVING MASS IN ASTANA

On August 20, 2026, a solemn Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in Astana on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the episcopal ordination, the 50th anniversary of the priestly ordination, and the 75th birthday of Archbishop-Metropolitan Tomasz Peta of the Archdiocese of Mary Most Holy in Astana.

The thanksgiving Mass was attended by priests of the Apostolic Administration for Byzantine Rite Catholics in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, led by the Apostolic Administrator, Mitred Archpriest Fr. Vasil Hоvera.

After the Holy Mass, the priests and Byzantine Rite faithful congratulated the Archbishop on his jubilees, offered him their heartfelt wishes, and wished him many blessed years.
